Westover Weather Report:
Our average temperature was 32F which is 2 degrees below normal for the month.
December ranked the 21st warmest.
We had 4.59 inches of precipitation which is 0.99 inches above normal for the month. 18.3 inches of snow which is 8.0 inches above normal for December.
December records: New daily snowfall of 15.1 inches on December 17th.  Broke old record of 7.2 inches set in 1970.
New daily precipitation of 1.85 inches on December 25th.  Broke old record of 0.90 set in 1945.
For the year…we ended up with 44.08 inches.  44.40 inches is our normal so just a bit below normal for the year by 0.32. It ranked 33rd wettest since 1942 (1941 was not included because did not have a full year’s worth of data).
The temperature for the year was 51.1F which is 1.1F above normal for the year.  It tied for the 6th warmest year along with 1949 & 1990.  Annual temperature records since 1942…did not use 1941 because of only 7 months in that year.
As for seasonal snowfall…as of today, we have 22.4 inches for the 2020-2021 season. Average is 49.5 inches OCT-MAY.
