Rally in the Pacific 2023
                Master Sgt. Derek Gioia, 403rd Security Forces combat arms training maintenance instructor, explains the new 9mm handgun and range rules to Brig. General Michael Cruff, 22nd Air Force deputy commander, and the Chief Master Sgt. Chin Cox, 22nd Air Force command chief master sergeant, prior to their usiing the U.S. Army Pohakuloa Training Area pop-up target range during their visit to see and participate in some of the training that occured at the 22nd Air Force's Rally in the Pacific 2023 exercise. RITP23 was designed to test the abilities of Air Force Reserve units to execute rapid global mobility missions in challenging, contested scenarios, while dispersed across the Indo-Pacific region and various drop zones simulating diverse operating locations to conduct all-domain operations against a near-peer adversary.
