Westover Firefighters put out Firey Chili

On Friday, Oct 28 the Westover Fire Dept. hosted the 1st Annual Westover Chili Cookoff. More than a dozen entrants competed in the categories of Hottest, Most Original and Best Overall. In an attendee voting format, the winners were David Wilkinson, Fire Dept (Hottest), Kristin Russell, BCE (Most Original) and Audra Sneed, LRS (Best Overall.) Mark your calendars now for the event's return date of Friday Oct 27, 2023. The second annual cookoff will be in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week, as well taking place on the Friday before the Oct. UTA.
