Westover AMDS conducts Mass Casuality Excercise
The 439th Aerospace Medicine Squadron on June 10 conducted a Mass Casualty Exercise at the Westover Clinic parking lot. The entire squadron got involved in all aspects of triage and field care. "It was an unique opportunity for our squadron to be involved in a scenario like this because it is totally different then what we do on the UTA weekends," said Senior Airman Juan Fonseca Tapia, Medical Technician, 439th AMDS. "We got a chance to work together and see what it would be like." We have a lot of younger airmen in the unit and they said it was awesome training, said Fonseca Tapia.
