Thorpe and family at Westover Air Show 2012
Command Chief Master Sgt. Michael Thorpe had served most of his career in Security Forces at Westover ARB becoming the Command Chief in 2011 and 2014 was selected as the Command Chief for 22nd Air Force. He retired at Westover Air Reserve Base in July 2016.
