Weapons Training
Capt. Charles Trovarello, 439th Security Forces Squadron, fires an M203 during weapons training Nov. 3, 2013, at Westover Air Reserve Base, Mass. The M203 is a single-shot 40mm grenade launcher designed to attach to a rifle and uses the same rounds as the older, stand-alone, M79 break-action grenade launcher, which utilizes the High-Low Propulsion System to keep recoil forces low. Security Forces conducts annual M203 training to keep Airmen qualified. (U.S. Air Force photo/SSgt. Kelly Goonan)
