Westover Warm Winter Weather
WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Early morning fog blankets The Flyers Inn, billeting office and the new signs that display the New England states and New York. The Fog is caused by the warmer air coming in contact with the much cooler ground. This December has been uncommonly warm with a high today of 57 degrees but was even higher in the El Nino year of 1998 when the high for the month was 74 degrees. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
