Gen. Raymond E. Johns Jr., commander of Air Mobility Command, shares discussion with the senior leadership of the 439th Airlift Wing during a mission briefing Dec. 2. General Johns visited Westover Dec. 1-2 and also toured Westover's isochronal inspection area. General Johns visited Westover to meet with AMC Airmen and learn more about the command's current mission directly from them. This is the general's first trip as commander of AMC. General Johns has made these trip his first priority to "get out and see the mission through the eyes of AMC's amazing Airmen." The general's first stateside trip includes visits to Guard, Reserve and active duty bases in Ohio, New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New Jersey.
