Faces of Westover

Senior Airman Amanda Bates, 439th Mission Support Squadron, is the 439th Airlift Wing's assistant chief of career enhancement. She is responsible for the enlisted evaluations, promotions and demotions programs at the base. Airman Bates, a former maintainer, said she enjoys seeing so many faces from around Westover. "When you're in maintenance, you just see the people you work with. In career enhancements I get to see people from all over the base," Airman Bates said. She added that she is really impressed by the people at Westover. "I've been to a couple of other bases and seen how they work together and almost felt embarrased for them. The people at Westover come together as a whole really well," she said.
