Faces of Westover

Senior Airman Stephanie McKenna, a scheduler with the 439th Maintenance Operations Squadron, sits in her cubicle inside the newly renovated Hangar 7 on the last day of her seven month activation in support of the surge in Afghanistan. Her activation came just after she was laid off from her civilian job and now she plans to extend her orders. "The people really take care of me here. They're my favorite part of my job," Airman McKenna said. She also plans to use her benefits to attend college and plans to go active duty once she graduates. "I like what I do here, so I'm going to pursue it and make it a career," she said.
