Westover's Hispanic Youth Leadership Symposium

Westover hosted approximately 170 students from local high schools, including 15 Springfield middle school students, as part of the fourth annual Hispanic Youth Leadership Symposium (HYLS) held on the base April 27. The students participated in events including performing military first aid, marching in formation, touring a C-5 jet, and launching model rockets. The goal of HYLS is to reach out to Hispanic youth who have the potential to make a difference and become future leaders. (US Air Force photo/Senior Airmen Alexander Brown)
