Arbor Day

As a part of Arbor Day a tree was planted here April 29 in front of the Military Entrance Processing Station Building. The tree is a part of a continuing stewardship for Westover to be recognized as a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. ?The Air Force and Westover ARB have always worked to be responsible stewards of the federal land entrusted to our care,? said Colonel John Healy, vice commander of the 439th Airlift Wing. ?Arbor Day is an excellent way to let the people of Westover and the local community know how much we value the environment in which we live.?
