New commander for Patriot Wing
In a change of command ceremony, held Aug. 8 in the Base Hangar, Col. Steven D. Vautrain assumed the reins of command at the 439th Airlift Wing. Major Gen. James T. Rubeor presided over the event and it was attended by the wives, families and friends of the incoming and outgoing commander, local community leaders and about 1,100 Westover troops.
