Silhouetting a Galaxy

The sun sets over Westover Air Reserve Base July 8, 2012, silhouetting the C-5s on the flightline. Since 1987, Westover has been participating in worldwide humanitarian relief efforts and war operations with the cargo and troop transport, the C-5 Galaxy. Each C-5 contains over five miles of control cables, over four miles of tubing and each wing weighs over 40,000 earning it the nickname - "The Galaxy." (U.S. Air Force photo/SrA. Kelly Galloway)
