Westover honors the Month of the Military Child Published March 16, 2016 439th AW Public Affairs April is the Month of the Military Child, and the Airman and Family Readiness Center staff will honor Westover’s military children! The center staff is collecting names of all military children who'd like to receive a certificate honoring them during April. This is for all Westover children, regardless of branch of service. Parents interested in their children receiving a certificate should send their child’s name, mailing address, service member name, and unit affiliation to shanna.king.1@us.af.mil by April 8. Certificates will be mailed out by the end of April. Elsewhere on the base, the center has partnered with the Westover Bowling Center to provide a special treat for military children, April 2, from 3-5 p.m. FREE bowling for all military kids (defined as up to 17 years old). Kids will get two hours of free unlimited bowling, shoe rental, one slice of pizza and a drink. Registration is required.
