WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Westover will host a disaster training exercise June 6. The exercise will be held adjacent to the Base Hangar and the fire station.
The exercise, designed to test the federal National Disaster Medical System, will begin at about noon. Participants include Westover reservists, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, 10 area hospitals, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of Veterans Affairs, Army Reserve, and the American Red Cross.
Several medical airlift aircraft will land and depart during the exercise as well.
