During the January 2014 B UTA, the 439th Operations Group will hold a Deserving Airman Commissioning Board to interview such candidates. The position to be filled is for an intelligence officer within the 439th Operations Support Squadron. This position requires a top secret clearance. Applicants must be eligible for that clearance. Packages must be sent to the OG office and include a copy of applicant's Air Force Officer Qualification Test scores; a copy of their college transcript(s); a cover letter explaining why a candidate would make a good officer candidate; two letters of recommendation (one must be from candidate's current unit commander); a resume that includes work experience (both reserve and civilian job experience as applicable); and a current Fit To Fight test score. Applicants must have a college degree at time of submission. The only exception to this rule is for those who will graduate by the end of the fall semester (December 2013), in which a letter, from their registrar's office, must be submitted with their application package, verifying their expected fall graduation date.
