Wing seeks officer candidates, board meets on January B UTA

The Reserve Airman Commissioning Program is looking for officer candidates. Men and women with a bachelor's degree, who have the desire to build upon their Airman foundations, could join the ranks of officers in the Air Force Reserve.

During the January B UTA, the 439th Operations Group will hold a Deserving Airman Commissioning Board to interview such candidates for an intelligence officer position.

This position requires a top secret clearance. Candidates, who never have been commissioned before, must be able to complete the entire commissioning process, including Officer Training School, before their 35th birthday.

Packages must be sent to the 439th OG office and include a copy of applicant's Air Force Officer Qualification Test scores; a copy of their college transcript(s); a cover letter explaining why a candidate would make a good officer candidate; two letters of recommendation (one must be from candidate's current unit commander); a resume that includes work experience (both reserve and civilian job experience as applicable); and a current Fit To Fight test score.
