Joint-service Employer Day set for July 12 Published April 23, 2014 WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- The 439th Airlift Wing's Employer Day is scheduled for July 12. This year's event follows a hiatus from 2013 due to sequestration and two Air Force-wide civilian furloughs. This year's event is the first-ever joint-service Employer Day. Reservists from Air Force, Navy and Army units assigned to Westover are encouraged to invite their civilian employers to the base. The wing public affairs office and volunteers with the Massachusetts Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve are coordinating the Employer Day activities.
