CES and Firefighters win AFRC awards
WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Award-Winning Patriot Wing Professionals!
On Jan 5, 439th Airlift Wing and 439th Mission Support Group leaders gathered at the Fire Station to announce the Patriot Wing's recipients of the 2022 Air Force Reserve Command Base Civil Engineer awards.
Westover's fire department won the Chief Master Sergeant Ralph E. Sanborn Fire Department of the Year Award - Medium Department. The 439th Civil Engineer Squadron was a double winner: the Major General Del R. Eulberg Asset Management Award and the Major General Robert C. Thompson Resource Excellence Award.
The three command-level awards amplify the commitment to mission readiness of the empowered and innovative civilians and Citizen-Airmen of the Base Civil Engineer team and the Civil Engineer Squadron.
