WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- A limo full of toys!
On Sunday, Nov 27 our community neighbors at The Bridal Corner, in conjunction with the Westover Galaxy Community Council held a 'stuff the limo' toy drive to benefit the Westover children's holiday party this UTA.
Customers donated toys, registered for raffle prizes, and feasted on hot dogs and hot chocolate.
Colonel Joseph Janik, 439 AW commander, Chief Master Sgt. Rosiline Ratliff, 439 AW command chief and Santa Claus presented a certificate of appreciation to TBC owners.
In an interview with 22 News, John Beaulieu, WGCC president said, "We just want everybody to know that they are loved, they are welcomed, they are appreciated. And, we’ll do whatever it takes to give them a hot meal and a toy for their child on Christmas morning. It’s the smallest little thing we can do for the support that they give us.”
