The 439th Contingency Response Flight, Westover Air Reserve Base paticipated in the exercise Swift Response 19, in June 2019, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
Swift Response is a multinational, joint U.S. Air Force/ U.S. Army exercises that is designed to enhance professional relationships and to improve overall coordination with allies and partners during a crisis.
The exercise highlights the flexibility of ground and air forces to rapidly respond to crises, getting personnel and material to where we need it, when we need it.
The excercise included units from all over the country and thier aircraft including a C-5, C-17s and C-130s performing combat-offloads over an airstrip in Bulgaria.
