Another job opportunity to serve the Westover community is coming on the market. The advertised position is for the development and training flight chief. Application packages are due 11 June 2019 with a start date of 1 November 2019. This is a leadership role that works with all levels of leadership and organizations in the wing. Over the April UTA Westover held its annual senior enlisted dining out event at the log cabin in Holyoke. Featuring guest speaker Colonel Kelly Hosey former Westover mission support group commander. It was a military ceremony where members gathered for a formal night out with good food.

The Galaxy Community Council will be hosting a run the runway and car show festival in June. You will be able to run on the same runway as our beloved C-5. If reservists just want to run it’s free. Showtime is 8:00 a.m. at the civilian airport June 8th 2019.

The Memorial Day hike is coming up this month. The hike will take place on Saturday 25 May Memorial Day. The location for the meet up is 22 Scammon Rd., Greenville, Maine 04441 and it’s a short drive to the entrance of the trail to the crash site. The hike is about 100 meters on level ground.

Don’t forget that June is our super UTA and there is no July UTA. If you have a PT test due in July, you’ll have to either take it over the June UTA or schedule it during the week in July.
