The 439th Airlift Wing is on the final
stretch of the 2011 Combined Federal
Campaign. The campaign began Sept. 1
and ends Dec. 15.

Last year's goal for the wing was $45,000,
and members donated $49,056. This year
the base has set a goal of $50,000, and
as of late November raised more than $31,000,
according to Robert Perreault, CFC
coordinator.

The CFC promotes philanthropy
through a program that is employee
focused, cost-efficient, and effective in
providing all federal employees the opportunity
to improve the quality of life
for all.

CFC is the world's largest and most
successful annual workplace charity
campaign, with more than 200 campaigns
throughout the country and internationally
to help raise millions of dollars each
year. Pledges made by federal, civilian,
postal and military donors during the
campaign season support eligible nonprofit
organizations that provide health
and human service benefits throughout
the world.
