Massachusetts lauds base for water quality Published April 26, 2013 439th AW Public Affairs WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Officials with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection notified the base in April that its water system had exceeded state standards. The base system "achieved one of the top scores in the Non-community Non-transient System category of the 2013 Public Water Systems Awards Program."
