Thunderbirds advance pilot lands at Westover

WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Maj. Branden Felker, advance pilot and narrator for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, interviewed with media June 12 on Westover’s flightline. Felker flew his F-16 Fighting Falcon to the base as part of a site visit in advance of next month’s Great New England Air and Space Show. The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are scheduled to headline the event. This will be the first time in 10 years that the Air Force's official aerial demonstration team has performed at Westover. The show is scheduled for July 14-15.
