WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Westover Airmen worked alongside members of the 512th Contingency Response Flight to support Sabre Guardian, an active duty army exercise that took place in Hungary. Collectively, they moved close to 2,000 personnel, including over 1,000 combat jumpers, and supported over 150 total sorties over the 10-day operation.

Over 40,000 military personnel from 23 participating nations trained across seven countries throughout the exercise. This is a yearly exercise and Westover has been selected to be the lead unit in Hungary in 2018.
