Reservists are encouraged to nominate their civilian employers for the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award by December 31.
The Freedom Award recognizes employers who provide outstanding support to their Guard and Reserve employees and is the most prestigious award of its kind.
Employers chosen to receive the award will be honored during a ceremony at the Pentagon in August 2017.
