Managing director at Interprint earns the Patriot Award

Three Massachusetts ESGR members traveled to Pittsfield, Mass. Jan. 4 to present the Patriot Award to Roland Morin, Co-Managing Director of Interprint. Due to a business commitment Mr. Morin was not available. Receiving the award on Mr. Morin's behalf was  Bill Hines Jr, also a Co-Managing Director.

Mr. Morin was nominated for this recognition by employee Scott Trumble, a master sergeant assigned to the 58th Aerial Port Squadron at Westover. In his nomination, Sergeant Trumble said he wanted to officially thank Mr. Morin and the entire Interprint team for their outstanding support during his numerous deployments. Sergeant Trumble's direct supervisor, Tom Cornellier Sr., Prematch Supervisor, was also present at this event.

Also attending were Diane Swain, ESGR volunteer;  Earl Bonett, Western Massachusetts Chair and Ombudsman Director; and Bill Hebert, program support manager.

The Pittsfield plant is the only Interprint facility in North America. It has over 100 employees.

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency established in 1972. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the USERRA law of 1994 and resolving conflicts through mediation. The Massachusetts committee has more than 40 volunteers dedicated to helping every servicemember.
