Seaman reenlists aboard a Super Galaxy

Petty Officer 1st Class Ronner Rodriguezmolina, a Medical Clerk at the Springfield Military Entrance Processing Station, reenlisted on the deck of one of Westover’s C-5M Super Galaxy cargo aircraft March 29, 2019. Rodriguezmolina, his wife and three children, and 15 people from the Springfield MEPS joined Brig. Gen. D. Scott Durham for the Petty Officer’s reenlistment ceremony. The Navy’s reenlistment process includes being honorably discharged before being reenlisted. Rodriguezmolina took the opportunity to thank his family. “I do this for you,” he said. Brig. Gen. Durham administered the Oath of Enlistment to Rodriguezmolina, who signed up for another six years or military service. Rodriguezmolina has been stationed at the Springfield MEPS for almost three years and will be leaving in June for a new assignment.
