Patriotic award

College Soccer Coach receives the Patriotic Employer Award -- It's the championship game of the soccer season and the final game for Elms College Senior Shannon Donnelly. While executing outstanding footwork and team play, Ms. Donnelly scored her final college career goal. Her score became the winning goal and Elms College defeated Lesley College for the championship. When she is not playing soccer, Ms. Donnelly is a full time student, a part time manager for an indoor soccer facility and an EMT in Southern Vermont. If that is not enough, this busy athlete and scholar is also SSGT. Donnelly, United States Air Force Reserve serving with the 439th Aeromedical Staging Squadron assigned to Westover. Sergeant Donnelly nominated her coach and employer, Ryan Kelly, to receive the Patriotic Employer Award for his support of her Air Force duties. Area Chairman for Western Mass and Ombudsman Director Mr. Earl Bonett MAESGR was on hand to present the award with Ms. Donnelly to Coach Kelly.
