9/28/2012 - WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Did you know...  7 in 10 Americans drink at low level or not at all.

37 percent of adults always drink at low-risk level
35 percent don't drink at all.

For men, low-risk drinking is no more than 4 drinks on any day and no more than 14 drinks per week.

For women, low-risk drinking is no more than 3 drinks on any day and no more than 7 drinks per week.

Only 28 percent of adults drink at heavy or at-risk levels

Many heavy drinkers can reduce their risk of harm by cutting back before it develops into a problem. However, for the nearly 18 million Americans who have alcoholism or related problems, it's safest to just quit.

So if you're a heavy drinker - don't fool yourself into thinking that everyone drinks the way you do!
