HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Air Force Civilian Service will host a recruitment and hiring event May 23 at the Burlington Marriott, One Burlington Mall Road, Burlington, Massachusetts, to fill more than 400 positions at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.

The AFCS-hosted event will provide an opportunity for those interested in federal employment at Hanscom AFB to meet with officials and apply for career opportunities in government service.

“We are excited to bring Air Force Civilian Service to Massachusetts to host this hiring event and connect civilian job seekers to rewarding careers at Hanscom Air Force Base,” said Col. Taona Enriquez, installation commander. “We are committed to hiring the very best civilian talent and believe this event will provide an excellent opportunity for us to hire top candidates from various backgrounds.”

Officials note that the public is invited to attend May 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is free, and officials encourage potential attendees to register in advance to receive updates and information about the event.

The recruitment and hiring event is open to all those interested in civilian positions with the U.S. Air Force, including recent college graduates, experienced professionals, veterans, military spouses and anyone interested in a career working to support our servicemen and women.

Attendees will have the chance to learn about open positions, speak directly with Hanscom AFB and AFCS representatives, and explore career paths in a wide range of fields, including law enforcement, logistics, child care, finance, engineering and technology, among others.

Early applications will soon be available online at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center website. Registration for the event is required for those seeking interviews with hiring managers.

The federal government has been actively recruiting for a variety of positions in recent years. The demand for child care workers, cybersecurity experts, and logistics professionals, among others, has increased, and the federal government is looking to fill these critical roles.

Positions offer a range of benefits, including competitive salaries, health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for advancement. In addition, government work provides the chance to serve your country and make a difference.

Hanscom positions are for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, which is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

AFCS recently held similar events at Wright-Patterson AFB and Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.
