WESTOVER AIR RESERVE BASE, Mass. -- Faces of Westover:
Senior Airman Daniel Pedretti, 439th Force Support Squadron personnelist, has been in the Air Force since June, 2016. He is a traditional reservist, but volunteered for active orders and currently works his position full-time. Pedretti is from Long Island, N.Y., but lives in Colorado Springs, Colo. when not on full-time orders.
Pedretti was previously an active duty Soldier in the Army for two years and worked for the Navy for more than six years. He said he joined the Air Force in 2016 because he missed being in the military after he was done working for the Navy.
Pedretti said his favorite part about being an Airman is what he gets to do outside of his job. He enjoys volunteering and has made photography a hobby.
Outside of the military, Pedretti is a certified personal trainer and enjoys traveling around the country. Pedretti has been to 43 of the 50 states and plans on visiting the other 7 states in the future.
